Wardle Reunion 2008

The Wardles headed up Ephraim Canyon for the annual reunion. Grandpa Coy brouth the "Fun Finder" and with about 50 more people we had ourselves a small city on the mountain. There was 4 wheeling, shooting, and a lot of eating (we always eat a little to well) to keep us busy!

Here is granpa on one of the 4 wheeling rides. We were gone for about an hour... grandpa bungeed on enough gas for all.

Lara Lou and Hope. We went on a ride out to Wagon Ridge, everyone was a bit nervous because apparently there are massive dogs that gaurd the sheep that chase you.

Tom looking hot in his child-size helmet and orange shades... Jess, you're a lucky girl. Abbey in the back, never misses a photo shoot, whether she is welcome or not.

We had about 14 little ones with us, who loved to ride the 4 wheelers. In fact, they would sit on the wheelers all hours of the day, with their helmets on, hoping that someone might give in and take them. They really liked taking keys out of the machines... nothing like a 3 year old with the only set of keys loose on a mountain.

Grandpa had a great idea to go sledding by Snow Lake. It's not every day you get to play in thesnow on the 24th of July... so out came the garbage bags... but they didn't really work so well. Grandpa managed to peg Jesse with a snowball in the back of the head though.

Bishop Wardle hauled us in the back of the truck to look for deer.

Abbey's boyfriend Matt had never been camping before, so my mom and Aunt Kerri were trying to show him how to look for deer... Abbey is just being a smart alec.

Abbey was supposed to be looking for deer... instead she was doing this.

We took a ride out to Woodtick Point and found our family names. There is a tree there that has my Grandpa Pete when he was 16, Cliffy at 16 and Curt at 16.

I had a blast up there and I'm excited for next year. Abbey I'm quite impressed with the balance act on the edge of the cliff. Maybe you should look into gymnastics... you'd be a spectacle on the balance beam.
